The following patient information is made available to the patients of Fayetteville Gastroenterology as a convenience. If you have any questions regarding our policies, please call our Fayetteville, NC office at (910) 323-5203.

Medical Records

 

  • Request for medical records are released only with your written consent
  • There is a fee for copying medical records
  • 3 to 5 working days notification is required

 

Lab Results

Lab, biopsy and x-ray results take 7 to 10 working days to be delivered. The physicians review the results and the patient will be notified by letter or phone. Please be aware if a report reveals a serious abnormal value the physician is notified immediately by the lab and the patient will be called.

 

Billing and Insurance

Our fees are based on the highly specialized care we provide. All deductibles and co-payments are expected at the time of service. Visa and Discover card are accepted for your convenience. 

Fees are charged for the following services:

  • Consultation and office visits according to the complexity of your problems
  • If an endoscopic procedure is performed, there is a professional fee from the physician performing the procedure
  • In most cases, there will be a Facility Fee charged by the hospital where the procedure is performed
  • The patient will receive a bill after the insurance company has paid. Therefore, any bill the patient receives is the patient's responsibility

The billing department is available for questions between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Press 5 on the phone menu to speak with a representative.

 

Ask The Doctor

The physicians spend most of their mornings at the Out-Patient Surgeries Centers.  In the afternoon, physicians see patients from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The voicemail system is the quickest way to leave a message. Voice mail is reviewed by the Clinical Staff every hour. Messages are given to the physician as soon as he is available.

  • An emergency situation is given immediate priority
  • Patients will most likely be called back late in the afternoon or the next morning
  • Prescription refills should be called in between 9:00am and 11:00 am
  • Please do not wait until you have taken your last pill!
  • Answers to routine questions take an average of 24 hours

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance or the patient may be charged

Office Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am until 5:00 pm
